After an hour of travel we arrive at the first stop which is the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center where we can have a panorama of the fauna and flora that we will see throughout our walk.
We cross the coast, the mining and cruise ship docks, concluding it in the Punta Indio viewpoint area, next to the monument of the Tehuelche Indian, a former inhabitant of this area.

The city of Puerto Madryn, declared the national capital of diving, offers different alternatives, among which is snorkeling with one-haired sea lions at the Punta Loma station, located 15 km from the city.
We leave the city of Puerto Madryn at around 11:00 am towards the mouth of the Chubut River. Playa Unión is our first stop, visiting its small fishing port.
During the kilometers that we will travel, the landscape will be flat plateau until we begin to see the first heights and thus reach the Florentine Ameghino dike, a work of hydraulic engineering, which competes with the spectacular nature of the natural landscape.
We will visit for the course of 2 to 3 hours the viewpoint of Punta Flecha and beach the quarries from where we will have excellent views of adult and newborn specimens.
During the summer months we will arrive at Puerto Pirámides, a small tourist town, where the boats depart to watch marine fauna in the crystal clear waters of the New Gulf.
